Incredible Artifacts Found Inside Ancient Egyptian Mummy

A scientific magazine revealed that American archaeologists discovered an incredible artifact inside a 2000 year ancient Egyptian mummy according to Sputnik. The Mummy dated back to the Greek-Roman period in Egypt.

The archaeologists discovered dozens of tiny Calcite artifacts inside the mummy after scanning it by synchrotron device. Also, a 7 millimeter high was found.

The Journal of the Royal Society magazine explained that the scientists found an extraordinary piece in a hole made near the abdomen of the mummy. This hole was made to extract the inner bowels during the process of mummification.

They added that this piece is like a spiritual protection of the body. It was designed in the shape of a scarab.

The mummy is for a 5-year-old boy, however, the external portrait of the coffin depicted a woman

Finally, they expressed that this mummy is known as How-Rah portrait and it was unearthed in (1910-1911).

It is worthy to mention that Ancient Egyptians are well known for their appreciation of death. They dealt with death as a mysterious part of the man’s journey. In addition, they believed in the after life.

They had spiritual rituals and spellbinding practices to help their dead pass their journies safely.

They provided their dead with the required jewelry, needs, and clothes.
