In Paris- Culture Min. Meets Counterparts from Greece, UAE, Kazakhstan, Djibouti

During her participation in the 40th session of The General Conference of UNESCO in Paris, Dr. Inas Abdel Dayem, Minister of Culture, met four Ministers of Culture- Esteliani Mendoti - Greece, Noura Bint Mohammed Al Kaabi - UAE and Aktoti Raimaklova –Kazakhstan.

The meetings discussed the means of enhancing cooperation in all cultural, artistic and intellectual fields between Egypt and their country.

In addition, it tackled ways to enhance partnership through reciprocal projects and intensifying cooperation in the fields of arts, book translations, plastic art exhibitions, books, theater, cinema, opera and children arts.

This steps aim to open new creative horizons based on cultural persity and to develop the peaceful dialogue among different civilizations.

This meeting was attended by Ambassador Ihab Badawy- Egypt's Ambassador to France and its Permanent Representative to UNESCO, Dr. Heba Youssef, Head of Foreign Cultural Relations Sector.

Abdel Dayem said that culture and arts are one of the most important channels of communication between nations, pointing out that the meeting dealt with the need to enhance cultural and artistic exchanges to deepen the bonds of friendship between Egypt and the citizens of these countries.

In addition, she suggested an idea of organizing interactive activities in various societies, including different activities for children and youth, folkloric and theatrical performances, literary and poetry evenings, etc.
