In light of what happened to the children after the famous hotel’s accident, some celebrities and stars started spreading and awareness including Ghada Nafea the daughter of the late actors Magda and Ihab Nafea. Nafea posted a message saying:

Ghada Nafea

To the random North Coast residents, please don’t be offended by my words as it may be an inspiration to whoever cares about their children.

((People, wake up and raise your children!! Raise your children before it is too late, why do 15-year-old drink!!! Why do girls date and spend the night at their boyfriends’ houses!! Why do children of that age have thousands of pounds in cash that they have lunch in Saatchi!! Why do girls celebrate their 16th birthday as if it’s their wedding!! Why do we teach our children that everything is okay and that money is worthy!! Why do 15-year-old wear Valentino, Gucci and Rolex watches!! Then what will make them happy when they are older?? Why are we raising a generation that judges people based on how much money they have!!!! I swear I don’t like comparing but people in Canada wear converse shoes and if they go to movies, they don’t eat out in order not to spend too much… But on the other side they spend thousands on sports and courses, it’s all about the priorities culture… I am truly shocked about the bragging of this generation; we weren’t like this))

It’s true there was nudity but there was class.

It’s true there was outings but there was no triviality.

It’s true there was no "hijab" but there was discipline.

It’s true there were brands but for the style and only if you can afford it.

There were outings but without obscenity.

What is wrong was wrong and not okay.

From my opinion, the lack of morals and chivalry is now normal .. I am sorry .. maybe I am old fashioned .. I am proud that my children are old fashioned too .. and I hope that they marry old fashioned people just like us .. people who know what is right and wrong and don’t need to show their swimsuits’ brand to appear high class.

The children must learn that:

• Less is more.

• Earn before you spend.

Ghada’s message was spread widely in the mommys’ groups and Facebook groups which means that the Egyptian society is actually rethinking its raising techniques.
