Kristalina Georgieva, the Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), has highlighted the importance of the IMF's collaboration with Egypt, describing it as a "top priority." Georgieva's statement, made via the social media platform X, underscored the significant strides taken in policy discussions essential for advancing Egypt's economic reform agenda. She also noted her productive meeting with Egyptian Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly.

Georgieva's remarks came during her participation in the World Government Summit 2024 in Dubai, an event that brings together over 25 world leaders under the theme "Shaping Future Governments." The summit, which runs until February 14th, focuses on global governance and the role of future-oriented policies in economic reform.
