In conjunction with COP27, the Egyptian Cabinet’s IDSC published a new infographic titled “Egypt is One of Africa’s Leading Producers of Renewable Energy Since 2010”.
The Infographic sheds light on Egypt’s efforts transitioning towards cleaner energy production.
The latest infographic also highlighted Africa’s installed solar and wind power generation capacity.
The data showed that Egypt is among the top producers, having Beban solar park as the 4th largest worldwide.
Earlier, IDSC said Egypt generates solar energy at a capacity of 1,680MW, adding that the country's production of wind power hit approximately 1,380MW.
