The Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported that the UAE signed defense deals worth 2.2 billion dirhams ($599.00 million) on Friday ,the fifth day of the International Defense Exhibition (IDEX) in Abu Dhabi.
The agency stated that the value of UAE deals with local companies amounted to 1.6 billion dirhams, while the total value of contracts with international companies amounted to 653 million dirhams.
The Agency added that the total value of deals signed during the last five days amounted to 23.34 billion dirhams.
