Massive fire broke out, on Sunday, in the Vanikoy Mosque in Istanbul, Turkey, according to Associated Press.

Firefighters have made desperate attempts, from land and sea, to extinguish the fire, trying to prevent the blaze from reaching the forest behind the mosque, and neighboring houses along the Bosphorus.
