Daily life comes with numerous challenges, such as work stress, financial burdens, family obligations, and personal ambitions.

All these factors can create psychological pressure, leading to feelings of confusion, frustration, and anger. However, there are ways to manage these stresses and maintain mental well-being. Here are some expert tips to help you overcome negative mental states:

1. Recognize Seasonal Changes It’s important to acknowledge that seasonal changes can impact mental health.

For some, the transition from summer, with its warmth and vacations, to the cloudy and cooler fall can bring feelings of unease or even physical discomfort, like joint pain. Understanding this and consulting a doctor for remedies, such as topical creams for aches, can help alleviate these physical and emotional burdens.

2. Organize and Prioritize Tasks We all have responsibilities that demand our time and attention. A great way to manage these is by writing down daily tasks and dividing them into categories like "urgent," "important," and "if time allows."

Start with the urgent tasks, and once you complete each, mark it off. This simple act provides a sense of accomplishment and helps you feel more in control.

3. Opt for Nutritious and Comforting Foods Healthy, comforting foods can significantly uplift your mood. Avoid artificial ingredients and processed foods.

Instead, focus on nourishing options that benefit both body and mind. Baked sweet potatoes, boiled or roasted potatoes, and dates, which are rich in vitamins and minerals, are excellent for your nervous system. Olive oil with thyme, dried fruits like figs and raisins, also promote relaxation and detoxification, helping your body feel at ease.

4. Limit Social Media Use Social media is a major time-waster and often adds unnecessary mental stress.

Constant comparisons with others can lead to dissatisfaction and anxiety. Try to reduce your screen time, especially on social platforms.

For a calming end to the day, spend the last 15 minutes before bed listening to relaxing music and reflecting on things you’re grateful for. This routine can help you fall asleep peacefully and wake up with renewed energy and positivity.
