The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot weather will prevail in most of the country during Tuesday’s daylight hours.
Extremely hot weather is also expected to prevail in the South Sinai and South Upper Egypt.
The country will also witness mist on agricultural and highway roads in Cairo, the North Coast, Canal Cities, Central Sinai, and North Upper Egypt.
Wind will occur occasionally across the country.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience low to moderate waves ranging between 1.25 and 1.75 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
Maritime navigation is also expected to be disrupted in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Suez, with winds averaging 30 to 50 km/h and waves ranging between 2 and 3 meters.
Moderate weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt at night, turning fall-like in the early hours.
The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 33°C in Cairo, 30°C in Alexandria, 29°C in Marsa Matruh, 37°C in Sohag, 38°C in Qena, and 40°C in Aswan.
