The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, and North Upper Egypt, during daylight hours on Thursday.
Warm weather is also expected to hit the North Coast and South Sinai and South Upper Egypt to experience extremely hot weather.
The country will also witness mist on agricultural and highway roads to Cairo, Lower Egypt, North Coast, South Sinai, and North Upper Egypt.
Winds will occur occasionally in Cairo, Lower Egypt, North Coast, South Sinai, and south of the country.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate waves, ranging between 1.5 and 2 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be turbulent, ranging between 2.5 and 3 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
Moreover, cold weather is also expected to prevail in most parts of the country, at night.
Moderate weather is set to hit South Sinai and South Upper Egypt.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 34°C in Cairo, 24°C in Alexandria, 23°C in Marsa Matruh, 34°C in Sohag, 38°C in Qena, and 42°C in Aswan.
