The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot weather to prevail in most parts of the country during Monday's daylight hours.
Light rain is also predicted to hit the far west of the country at intermittent periods.
Wind will occur occasionally in the Northwest Coast, stirring sand and dust in the North Upper Egypt New Valley Governorate and the Western Desert, leading to a drop in horizontal visibility.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience low to moderate waves, ranging between 1 and 1.5 meters, varying between southeast and northeast surface winds.
The Red Sea will experience low to moderate waves, ranging between 1 and 1.5 meters, varying between southeast and southwest surface winds.
Moderate weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt in the early hours and at the end of the nighttime.
The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 30°C in Cairo, 26°C in Alexandria, 23°C in Marsa Matruh, 36°C in Sohag, 38°C in Qena, and 39°C in Aswan.
