Hot Weather Prevails across Egypt on Friday, Cairo 33°C

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, and North Coast, during daylight hours on Friday.

Extremely hot weather is also expected to hit South Sinai and the south of the country.

There is a change of light rain prevailing in Cairo, South Lower Egypt, Northeastern Coast, Canal cities, and North Upper Egypt.

There is also a 30% chance of light to medium rain hitting Northwest Coast and North Lower Egypt.

Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate to turbulent waves, ranging between 2 and 2.5 meters in height with southeast surface winds.

Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.25 and 1.75 meters in height varying between northwest to southeast surface winds.

Moreover, moderate weather is also expected to prevail across the country, at night.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 33°C in Cairo, 30°C in Alexandria, 26°C in Marsa Matruh, 39°C in Sohag, 41°C in Qena, and 43°C in Aswan.
