Hot Weather Prevails across Egypt on Friday, Cairo 30°C

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northeastern coasts, South Sinai, and North Upper Egypt, during daylight hours on Friday.

Moderately hot weather is also expected to hit the northwestern coast, while the south of Upper Egypt experience extremely hot weather.

Winds will occur occasionally in the northwestern coast, stirring sand and dust in Cairo, Lower Egypt, the Western Desert, the Canal cities, the northeastern coast, Sinai, the north of the Red Sea, and the south of the country.

There is also a 20% chance of moderate rainfall hitting intermittently in Salloum and Marsa Matruh, with light rain prevailing in Alexandria and North Lower Egypt.

Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate waves, ranging between 1.5 and 2.25 meters in height with northwest surface winds.

Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.5 and 2 meters in height with northeast surface winds.

Moreover, moderately cold weather is also expected to prevail in most parts of the country, at night.

Moderate weather is set to hit South Sinai and South Upper Egypt.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 30°C in Cairo, 24°C in Alexandria, 24°C in Marsa Matruh, 37°C in Sohag, 37°C in Qena, and 39°C in Aswan.
