The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai, and south of the country, during daylight hours on Friday.
Warm weather is also expected to hit the North Coast.
Winds will occur occasionally in Cairo, Lower Egypt, Northwestern Coast, and South Sinai, stirring sand and dust in the south of the country.
There is also a 20% chance of light rain to prevail intermittently in the Northeastern Coast and North of Lower Egypt.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience low to moderate waves, ranging between 1.5 and 2 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be turbulent, ranging between 2.5 and 3 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
Moreover, moderately cold weather is also expected to prevail in most parts of the country, at night.
Moderate weather is set to hit South Sinai and South Upper Egypt.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 29°C in Cairo, 23°C in Alexandria, 22°C in Marsa Matruh, 32°C in Sohag, 33°C in Qena, and 35°C in Aswan.
