Hot Weather Hits Egypt on Thursday, Cairo 33°C

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai, and North Upper Egypt, during daylight hours on Thursday.

Warm weather is also expected to hit the North Coast, while the south of Upper Egypt and the south of the country experience extremely hot weather.

There is a 30% chance of light to medium rainfall prevailing northwest coast and north of Lower Egypt.

Winds will occur occasionally in the northwest coast and South Sinai, stirring sand and dust in Cairo, Western Desert, North Upper Egypt, and Northern Red Sea Governorate.

Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate to turbulent waves, ranging between 2 and 2.5 meters in height with northeast surface winds.

Waves in the Red Sea will be low to moderate, ranging between 1 and 1.5 meters in height with southeast surface winds.

Moreover, moderately cold weather is also expected to prevail in most parts of the country, at night.

Moderate weather is set to hit South Sinai and south of the country.

There is a 30% chance of light rain hitting Cairo, South Lower Egypt, and Canal Cities.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 33°C in Cairo, 25°C in Alexandria, 24°C in Marsa Matruh, 29°C in Sohag, 39°C in Qena, and 41°C in Aswan.
