The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot weather to prevail in Cairo and Lower Egypt, during daylight hours on Thursday.
Warm weather is also expected to hit the North Coast, while South Sinai and the south of the country experience extremely hot weather.
There is also a 30% chance of light rain, thunderous sometimes, prevailing South Sinai, Red Sea mountain ranges, and South Upper Egypt.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate waves, ranging between 1.5 and 2 meters in height with northeast surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be low to moderate, ranging between 1 and 1.5 meters in height varying between northwest to southeast surface winds.
Moreover, moderate weather is also expected to prevail most of the country, at night.
Moderately cold weather is also expected to hit the North Coast.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 33°C in Cairo, 28°C in Alexandria, 26°C in Marsa Matruh, 39°C in Sohag, 40°C in Qena, and 42°C in Aswan.
