UNICEF Representative in Egypt Jeremy Hopkins expressed happiness for attending the “Our Children: Our Future” conference organized by Aladdin magazine at Al-Ahram Foundation, saying that he is very excited about this conference because it is about children's mental and physical health.

He also noted that UNICEF works with development partners to protect all children from violence and support their mental and physical wellbeing.

UNICEF is co-sponsoring the conference with the National Council for Childhood and Motherhood and the Ministries of Health, Population, Youth, Sports, Social Solidarity, and Education, he added.

On his part, Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education stressed that the political leadership puts at the top of its priorities the development of the awareness of the Egyptian child and adopts the strategy of building the Egyptian person within the framework of achieving "Egypt's Vision 2030", noting that the conference is an affirmation of the role of the ancient Al-Ahram Foundation and soft powers in adopting a policy of building The Egyptian human being pursued by the Egyptian state.

In turn, Presidential Advisor for Health Affairs Mohamed Awad Tag El-Din said that the State gives special attention to Egyptian children, affirming its continued efforts to examine many children in order to make sure that they are not suffering from dwarfism and thyroid disease.
