The Universities Supreme Council, headed by Dr. Khaled Abdel-Ghaffar the Higher Education and Scientific Research minister, adopted the decisions that taken at its 699th meeting regarding examinations for the second semester 7/2.
The council discussed the precautionary and preventive measures that will be followed during exams for final year students, as soon as the study suspension period is concluded.
Meanwhile, Abdel-Ghaffar instructed university presidents to develop proposals for the educational process for the academic year 2020/2021.
Also, Abdel-Ghaffar praised the level reached by the university cities and the reception of Egyptians returning abroad to spend the health insulation to check them and ensure their safety, stressing the public need to continue with the necessary precautions.
On other hand, Dr. Hisham Farouk, the Assistant Minister for Digital Transformation, reviewed the proposal to establish a unified portal for Egyptian universities to raise e-learning content in cooperation with a major electronics company.

■ The Council discussed the proposal to sign a cooperation protocol between the Higher Education and Scientific Research Ministry and the New Valley Governorate regarding the strategic crop cultivation expansion with the participation of Egyptian universities in maximizing the return from acre production.
■ Also, it agreed to start studying at the Physical Therapy Faculty at Banha University.
■ The Council agreed to start studies at the Veterinary Medicine College and establishment a computers and information college at Al-Areesh University.
■ The Council approved the establishment the Physical Therapy Faculty at Fayoum University. Also, it approved the establishment Nutrition Sciences Faculty at Helwan University.
