Staying home is necessary to stem the spread of the coronavirus has left us with too much time on their hands, so we partake in many activities to fill it such as watching TV, live streaming viral concerts, reading, and scrolling on the internet, and apparently whipped coffee is the best new thing on the internet right now.

People are obsessed with whipped coffee, which has been dubbed “TikTok coffee” since it mostly went viral on the platform.

The new trend began in South Korea while people looked for ways to connect virtually. It has been popularized by TikTok users in South Korea, Egypt, and other users across the globe.

The creamy coffee is taking the internet by storm thanks to how delicious it looks, and more importantly, how it is super easy and fun to do.

Though the drink looks like something you would get at a coffee shop, which is part of its appeal because people miss going to cafes and ordering their favorite, complicated-named drinks.

How to make this super delicious drink?

Equipment:

All you need is a whisk, a hand mixer or milk frother, or an empty bottle of water.

Ingredients:

It consists of four basic ingredients which are, instant coffee, sugar, water, and milk or coffee creamer.

Directions:

Add two tablespoons each of instant coffee, sugar, and hot water in a bowl, then whip the ingredients (using either your hand mixer or milk frother) until they become thick and foamy.

Another way to make the whipped coffee is that you can also add two tablespoons each of instant coffee, sugar, into an empty bottle of water,  then shake it well until they become thick and foamy.

Next, layer the foam on top of a half glass of milk (you can heat it if you like) or creamer, and voila, you’re done.
