The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts that a heatwave will begin sweeping across Egypt on Friday and last for 72 hours.
Extremely hot weather will prevail during the day nationwide, while North Coast experience hot weather.
The country will also witness mist on agricultural and highway roads in Cairo, Lower Egypt, Canal Cities, North Coast, and North Upper Egypt.
Meteorologist also predicts that Egypt to experience a temperature rise.
Winds will occur occasionally across the country.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience low to moderate waves, ranging between 1 and 1.5 meters in height varying between northeast and southeast surface winds.
The Red Sea will experience low to moderate waves, ranging between 1 and 1.5 meters in height varying between northwest and southeast surface winds.
Moderate weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt at nighttime.
The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 36°C in Cairo, 35°C in Alexandria, 33°C in Marsa Matruh, 39°C in Sohag, 40°C in Qena, and 41°C in Aswan.
