Heat Wave Sets Fires in Israel, 124 People Injured

A heat wave hits Israel nowadays led to set fires to various parts of the country, especially Tel Aviv, the capital.

Around 124 people were injured due to freak temperature degrees according to Ma’ariv, an Israeli daily newspaper.

Emergency respondents treated the injured people who were suffering dryness, fatigue and cases of nausea.

Israel (the  occupied Palestine) is among other countries in the Middle East that face a prolonged heat spell.

Mercury went high over the last few days.

Israeli government agencies have announced emergency state to cope with fires erupted in many places.

Fire brigades ask its staff to head into their stations and cancel holidays.

Firemen evacuate settlers from a number of settlements in the occupied Western Bank after a big fire broke out in vicinity of the settlement.

Israel is about to face a new wave of fires.

Temperature degree is above the normal average by 9 C.

The Ministry of Health in Israel warns of exposing to the sunrays directly at noon.
