Renowned Archaeologist Zahi Hawass offered his legendary hat to Prime minister Moustafa Madbouly.
"I gave this hat to world leaders and celebrities, and today I present it to you as an appreciation for your tremendous efforts under the leadership of president Abdel Fattah el-Sisi," he added.
Hawass also handed Madbouly the first copy of his new book, "Life in Paradise," which narrates important chapters in the lives of ancient Egyptians.
The archaeologist expressed his gratitude for the PM and the political leadership for their interest in antiquities.
"I have not seen, during my 50 years of work, any prime minister, who was so keen to attend archaeological excavations or restoration work as I witness today," he concluded, pointing to the restoration process of Ramses II statue.
