The release date for Egyptian actor Hassan El Raddad's comedy film "Blomondo" has moved from its original release date of New Year's season to November 15.
The cast also includes Hagar Ahmed, Mahmoud Hafez, Sama Ibrahim, Engy Wegdan, Mostafa Abo Sreaa, and others. It also witnesses Amy Samir Ghanem making a guest appearance.
Filmmaker Yasser Samy directs the pic from a screenplay by Hazem and Mohamed Waifi.
The film discusses the suffering of young people after marriage and their desire to return once again to a life of celibacy.
El Raddad was last seen in the film “Taht Tahded el Selah” (at Gunpoint).
The cast also included Ahmed Bedier, Bayoumi Fouad, Shereen Reda, Fathy Abdel Wahab, and Mai Omar.
The film is scripted by Ayman Bahgat Kamar and directed by Mohamed Abdel Rahman Hamaki.
“Taht Tahded el Selah” is based on true events and sees El Raddad portraying a role that is different and new from what he had presented before.
The actor previously stated that he studied the character for three months.
The project marked El Raddad's comeback to the big screen after two years of absence. He made his last cinematic appearance in the 2020 romantic film “Tawam Rouhy” (Soulmates).
El Raddad, was born on January 2, 1984, to renowned Egyptian actor Nabil el-Raddad. He made his acting debut in the 2006 film "Khiana Mashroaa".
In 2007, he starred in his first major role in a drama in the first season of the TV series “al-Daly”, starring veteran actor Nour El Sherif.
