Ismail Haniyeh, head of the Politburo of the Islamic Resistant Movement (Hamas) said that a new balance of power has crystalized in the region.

He urges the Palestinian Authority (PA) to walk out of Oslo accords and to abolish its recognition of Israel.

Haniyeh said during a televised speech that there is a new balance of power sprang from Al Quds (Jerusalem) within the development of the popular resistance at the courts of the  Al Aqsa Mosque ( the third holiest shrines in Islam) and missile resistance in the Gaza Strip.

He asks the PA to stop the security cooperation with the Israeli occupation.

Haniyeh added that the Palestinians enforced the occupation to push its Jewish extremists away from the Al Aqsa.

He stressed that the Palestinian people spoils celebrations of the extremists of the imaginary occupation of the so-called Occupation Day of Jerusalem.

Haniyeh went on to say that the equation of being singled out by the occupation in Jerusalem and tampering with and permitting it is no longer acceptable to the Palestinians as a people or as resistance.

He stressed that  Gaza does not lag behind Jerusalem and the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, so when the Al-Aqsa Mosque called, Gaza answered the call at once.

Haniyeh emphasized that the enemy (Israel) is trying to keep Gaza away from the equation of the conflict, but the Palestinian people "broke this Zionist plan, as Jerusalem is in the heart of Gaza, and Gaza is in the heart of Jerusalem," as he put it.

Haniyeh said that the Palestinian movement came on three parallel fronts, the Jerusalem front, the burning Gaza front, which stands on behalf of the Palestinian people in the face of this arrogance, as well as the front of the occupied Palestinian interior in 1948.

Haniyeh pointed out that he had contacted many leaders and officials in the region since the events erupted in Jerusalem.

He assured these officials that the Palestinian message is very clear.

He pledged that the Palestinians will not back down from defending Jerusalem, whatever the sacrifices.
