The joint Egyptian-Sudanese military drills "Guardians of the Nile" kick-off in Sudan, with the participation of the air forces, navy, and ground troops of both sides.
The military exercises included holding a set of theoretical and scientific lectures to unify combat concepts, exchange training experiences, and carry out joint sorties on different targets.
The troops also dealt with targets from different positions, and the paratroopers performed a number of free jumping exercises.
The exercises reflected the extent of combat readiness and the ability of the armed forces of both sides to support security and stability efforts in the region.
The joint training aims to enhance the means of military cooperation, exchange of experiences and develop joint work between the Egyptian Armed Forces and the Sudanese one.
