The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts warm weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, and North Coast, South Sinai, and North Upper Egypt, during daylight hours on Wednesday, the first day of spring.
Moderately warm weather is also predicted to hit South Upper Egypt.
Wind will be active in Cairo, Lower Egypt, Canal Cities, and North Coast.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate waves, ranging between 1.5 and 2 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be low to moderate, ranging between 1.25 and 1.75 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
Moreover, most parts of the country will experience cold weather at nighttime.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 25°C in Cairo, 25°C in Alexandria, 24°C in Marsa Matruh, 27°C in Sohag, 27°C in Qena, and 28°C in Aswan.
