Gold prices rose by 3.4% in the local markets during the last week’s trading, while the ounce on the global stock market rose by 0.7%.
Saeed Embabi, CEO of the “iSagha” platform said that gold prices rose in the local markets by about 95 pounds during the last week’s trading, as the price of a gram of 21 carat gold recorded 2,880 pounds, while an ounce rose by $15, recording $2,020.
He added that a gram of 24 karat gold recorded 3,292 pounds, a gram of 18 karat gold recorded 2,469 pounds, while a gram of 14 karat gold recorded about 1,920 pounds, and a gold pound recorded about 23,040 pounds.
