Gold prices rose in local markets during midday trading on Monday.
Engineer Saeed Embabi, Executive Director of the “iSagha” platform, said that gold prices in the local markets rose by about 20 pounds during today’s trading, as the price of a gram of 21 karat gold recorded 3,790 pounds, while an ounce rose by about 8 dollars to record 2,741 dollars.
Embabi added that a gram of 24 karat gold recorded 4,331 pounds, a gram of 18 karat gold recorded 3,249 pounds, while a gram of 14 karat gold recorded about 2,527 pounds, and a gold pound recorded about 30,320 pounds.
