Gold prices rose in local markets during Thursday's trading.
Engineer Saeed Embabi, Executive Director of the iSagha platform, said that gold prices in the local markets rose by 20 pounds, bringing the price of a gram of 21 karat gold to 2,640 pounds, while an ounce rose by about 12 dollars, to record 2,687 dollars.
Embabi added that a gram of 24 karat gold recorded 4,160 pounds, a gram of 18 karat gold recorded 3,120 pounds, while a gram of 14 karat gold recorded about 2,427 pounds, and a gold pound recorded about 29,120 pounds.
