Gold prices Decrease, 21 Karat at EGP 3,235

Gold prices decreased in local markets during trading today, Tuesday, in light of the decline of the ounce on the global stock market, amid increasing tensions in the Middle East region.

Engineer Saeed Embabi, Executive Director of the “iSagha” platform said that gold prices dropped by about 25 pounds in the local markets during today’s transactions, as the price of a gram of 21 carat gold recorded about 3,235 pounds While an ounce decreased by about $9 to record $2,374.

Embabi added that a gram of 24 karat gold recorded 3,697 pounds, a gram of 18 karat gold recorded 2,773 pounds, while a gram of 14 karat gold recorded about 2,157 pounds, and a gold pound recorded about 25,880 pounds.
