Gold prices declined in the local markets during trading today, Thursday, with a slight decline in ounces' price on the global stock exchange.
Eid Youssef, Director of Gold devision at Al-Menoufya Chamber of Commerce, said that gold prices witnessed a decline by EGP 15 in the local markets during today’s trading, as a gram of 21 karat gold recorded EGP 2535, while an ounce declined to $2027.
He added that a gram of 24 karat gold recorded EGP 2897, a gram of 18 karat gold recorded about EGP 2173, and a pound of gold recorded about EGP 20280.
