Tobias Thiel, Deputy Director of the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) said on Wednesday, that climate change affects many people and places around the world.
This came during his participation in the European Union's activities to celebrate 'Europe day' in Alexandria city.
In a press remarks, he added that Alexandria is among the most-affected cities by sea-level rise and extreme weather conditions, underling the need for cooperation between politics, business, science, and youth, to confront climate change.
Moreover, he drew attention to the cooperation between the German government, the European Union (EU), and Egypt to develop solutions to the climate change crisis.
Thiel also shed light on the 'special' and 'key' role played by young people in solving this problem.
