On Tuesday, Germany's President Frank-Walter Steinmeier will start an official state visit to Cairo. The visit will be a 3-day visit and the German president targets to celebrate the long relationships between Egypt and Germany in several fields like education, economy, and science.
In an official statement released by the German Presidency, Germany hailed the mutual ties between both countries, asserting Egypt's key role in international and regional scene.
The German President is set to visit the Saint Charles Borromée School, and various landmarks in Egypt such as the Pyramids, Al Moaz Street, various old and ancient streets in historical Cairo, the New Administrative Capital, and German University in Cairo.
He will also have several meetings with Egyptian officials, and Pope Tawadros II.
