Germany has announced it will send 20 additional Marder (Martin) armored personnel carriers to Ukraine as part of its ongoing military assistance.
This shipment is part of a broader package aimed at bolstering Ukraine's defense capabilities against Russian aggression.
In addition to the armored vehicles, Ukraine has received eight Leopard 1 tanks from Germany.
The updated list of arms supplies, released by the German government, also includes six PzH 2000 self-propelled howitzers and 24,000 rounds of 155mm ammunition.
Germany, recognized as Ukraine's second-largest military supporter after the United States, continues to provide substantial military aid.
Despite this, when adjusted for economic size, the Baltic and Scandinavian countries have offered more significant aid in proportion to their resources.
