German government spokesman Steffen Hebestreit said on Monday that Berlin is concerned about President Vladimir Putin's visit to Minsk, as it "could change the role of Belarus in Russia's special military operation in Ukraine."
"We see, at least, that Belarus is providing assistance," the spokesman told reporters.
Moreover, Hebestreit declined to comment on a request from reporters to clarify whether Germany had concerns about Belarus' participation in the special military operation.
"I do not want to give more comments, but, of course, the assistance from Belarus may increase, it is possible, but first, we have to wait. Let's see how this visit will go and what will be its result," spokesman said.
