German Health Min: Coronavirus Lockdown May Continue throughout Winter

German Health Minister Jens Spahn warned that the lockdown measures currently imposed in the country might continue throughout the winter season, with regard to the continued increase in  Coronavirus cases (Covid-19).

"The Corona pandemic shows how important serious health information is,” Spahn said. “Because only those who have sound information can protect themselves and others."

He also stated large Christmas parties or social gatherings that include more than 10 or 15 people may not be allowed.

The German Health Minister also stressed that we have to manage it together in order to cross this winter with low numbers.

"Robert Koch" institute had recorded 21,866 new infections during the past 24 hours across the country.
