Borisenku: Russian Wheat Continues to Come to Egypt

Georgy Borisenko , Ambassador of Federal Russia to Egypt, has received a delegation of the Egyptian Society of Russian and Soviet graduates.

The interview between the visiting delegation the Russian ambassador touched on the special Russian military operation in Ukraine to clear its aims.

The delegation comprises both of Sherif Gad, head of the society, General -Secretary Dr. Fathi Toufhan, Samia Tawfiq, a member of Board of Dircetors, Dr. Magy Zabaal, Dr. Ahmed Al-Attiq, and Mohamed Abu Lailah.

Borisenku made clear the Western media attempt to distort truths about the Russian operation in Ukraine.

He stressed the Russian army is keen to avoid targeting residence building and limiting its strikes to military units only.

He added that the Russian army used ”Dagger” missiles to attack weapon underground stores.

Those attacks prove the accuracy of shelling in contrary to what is done by the Ukrainian forces.

The Russian Ambassador appreciates objectiveness of Egyptian media in dealing with the operation on Ukraine and people’s support to Russia.

He affirmed that cooperation between Cairo and Moscow continues as Russia abides to all treaties signed with Egypt, such as the agreement on building Al-Daabah nuclear power plant according to the time table set by Presidents Abdel Al-Sisi and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.

He pointed out that Russia continues to provide Egypt with railway locomotives.

Presidents Al-Sisi and Putin affirmed over a telephone talk that Russia will not stop sending wheat shipments to Egyptian ports on time.

For his part, Sherif Gad, said that graduates of Russian and Soviet universities reject Western sanctions imposed on Russian people.

He stressed that sanctions don’t harm Russia only but have enormous effects on other peoples in the world.

Gad indicated fake videos footages that resemble ones propagated by Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt.

He condemned behavior of Ukrainian nationalists who murder Russian minorities as what happened by Israel and the United States of America (USA) in Palestine, Syria and Iraq respectively.

Gad added that Arab Peoples lose confidence in West’s leaders.

Dr. Fathi Toughan warned that President Zelensky will destroy Ukraine.

Toughan went on say that his Ukrainian comrades sent him images of the university where he studied years ago.

Those images show destruction inflicted to that university due to Russian shelling.

But Toughan replied to his comrades that Ukraine should to take Russia’s part instead of biasing to the W est.

He inquired why the West did not impose sanctions on the USA after it invaded Iraq?

Magdy Zabaal said that the Russian military in Ukraine is Just as it defends identity and Russian homeland.

He affirmed that the war will lead to a new world not monopolized by the USA and West.

Ahmed Al-Attiq expressed his trust in Russia and its pivotal role in the world.

He went on to say that he is proud for working at Al-Daabha nuclear power plant in Egypt.

Samia Tawfiq assured her support for Russian position.

Mohamed Abu Lilah asked Russia Today (RT) to squash lies of the West.

At the end of the interview, the Russian ambassador, Sherif Gad thanked Russia for helping Egyptian students in Ukraine to return home and offer some of them scholarships.

The Russian ambassador appreciated the graduates for their support for Russian position.

He stressed his confidence in their ability to convey truths to their relatives.
