Nayef Al-Hajraf, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), stressed that the Gulf-Egyptian relations are the pillar of security and stability in the region.
This came during the joint ministerial meeting between Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and the foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries in Riyadh, basing on the close relations between the leaders and peoples of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the strong brotherly and historical ties between them, and in accordance with the principle of consultation and coordination on regional and international issues of common interest.
The Egyptian side expressed its confidence in the success of the Gulf summit held in Riyadh, stressing that its outcomes will contribute to promoting peace and sustainable development and serving the aspirations of the Arab and Islamic nations.
