Press Release from The High Commission for Tribal Affairs in the Gaza Strip

Gaza Pleads with the Conscience of the World

Your Silence is Another Death… Is There Still Anyone Among You Who Will Listen?

Directed to: World Leaders, The United Nations, Humanitarian and Human Rights Organizations, Free Media, and Every Human Being with a Living Conscience

From amidst the rubble, still reeking of blood, and from beneath the debris of homes that once sheltered our children's dreams, we send you these words—not as a political statement, but as a heartbroken humanitarian plea, and as a cry from those who remain alive in a land that breathes death every moment.

Gaza, this small sliver of land, has become a witness to the collapse of values, the breakdown of principles, and the butchering of justice, all in full view and hearing of the entire world. Our children are not playing; they are counting those among them who are still alive. Our mothers are not just wailing for the loss of their children; they are searching for them among the rubble, for tiny bodies that may not even find a shroud.

What kind of cruelty allows all this pain to pass without stirring a single action?

What kind of world is this that balances blood with deals, and souls with interests?

What is happening in Gaza is not a war, but a continuous massacre, a systematic ethnic cleansing, and a crime of genocide being committed in stages, with advanced killing tools, and under the hateful cloak of silence. Our people are being annihilated not because they carried weapons, but because they insisted on living. On remaining in their land, on holding onto their children, on dreaming despite the wounds.

But despite all this pain, we do not write to you merely to chastise you, but because we believe that in this world—however few their numbers—there are still those whose souls are alive, and whose consciences have not been tainted by politics. We write to you with what little hope remains within us; we appeal to you with what remains of your humanity.

We demand of you, not pity, but justice:

* Immediate action to halt the killing machine that is mercilessly crushing civilians.

* Ending the suffocating siege on Gaza, a siege that not only kills but also prevents even the dignified burial of the dead.

* Providing international protection for civilians, and enabling aid to reach without obstacles or exploitation.

* Prosecuting those responsible for these crimes before fair international courts.

* Halting all forms of cooperation and military support to the occupying entity, which has proven to the world that it is above all law.

We are not asking for the impossible; we are demanding the simplest thing life grants to a human being:

To live. Just to live.

We hold you fully responsible, before God, before history, before future generations, and before the children of Gaza who will grow up—if they are spared—and ask: Why did the world remain silent?

Gaza is crying out today…

Do not let this call be the last

heard from it.
