The combination of meat and potatoes is one of the most delicious dishes ever, especially if it is cooked in a delicious way. We present to you in the following lines: Garlic Steak and Potatoes.
Ingredients:
2 pounds steak (such as ribeye, sirloin, or your choice of cut)
1 tbsp fresh rosemary, finely chopped
1 tbsp fresh thyme, finely chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (plus extra for garnish)
6 potatoes, medium-sized, cut into wedges or chunks
For the Seasoning Mix:
1 tsp black pepper
2 tsp All Purpose Seasoning
2 tsp Cajun seasoning
1 tsp onion salt
1 tsp dried parsley
Directions:
Preheat and Prepare:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) if you plan to roast or bake the potatoes.
Clean the potatoes and cut them into wedges or chunks. Set aside.
Prepare the Steak:
In a small bowl, combine the rosemary, thyme, minced garlic, and fresh parsley.
Rub the steak with this herb and garlic mixture, ensuring all pieces are evenly coated.
Mix the Seasonings:
In another small bowl, combine the black pepper, All Purpose Seasoning, Cajun seasoning, onion salt, and dried parsley.
Sprinkle this seasoning mix generously over both the steak and the potatoes, ensuring even coverage.
Cook the Potatoes:
Arrange the seasoned potato wedges on a baking sheet in a single layer.
Drizzle with olive oil or vegetable oil to ensure they cook evenly and get a nice crispy exterior.
Roast in the preheated oven for about 35-40 minutes, or until golden and tender, flipping halfway through cooking.
Cook the Steak:
While the potatoes are roasting, heat a grill pan, skillet, or outdoor grill over high heat.
Place the seasoned steaks on the hot grill or pan. Cook according to your preference: about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, adjusting the time for thicker cuts or different doneness levels.
Once cooked to your liking, remove the steaks from the heat and let them rest for a few minutes to redistribute the juices.
