Actor and professional wrestler Tommy Lister, known as ‘Tiny’, died, Thursday, at the age of 62, as he was found unconscious in his Marina Del Rey apartment.
Lister's friends and business associates have reported that they hadn’t heard from him since the night, expressing their worries about his wellbeing.
Deputies with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department were dispatched to Lister's home in the 4100 block of Via Marina, near Marina Beach and Basin D, shortly before 3 p.m.
They entered his home and discovered him dead inside, according to Medrano.
"Mr. Lister's death appears to be of natural causes but will ultimately be determined by the Office of Medical Examiner-Coroner,'' Medrano said in a statement.
Lister acted in a number of different films such as “No Holds Barred”, played President Lindberg in the sci-fi action film “The Fifth Element”, “The Dark Knight”, and even voiced a character in the animated film “Zootopia”, the talent was widely known for his classic role as Deebo in “Friday” and its sequel, “Next Friday”.

Ice Cube, who starred in 'Friday' along with the actor, posted a tribute on Instagram, saying, "RIP Tiny “Deebo” Lister. America’s favorite bully was a born entertainer who would pop into character at the drop of a hat terrifying people on and off camera. Followed by a big smile and laugh. Thank you for being a good dude at heart. I miss you already."

The actor didn’t just act, he had 2 short pro wrestling stints, and starred alongside Hulk Hogan as the bad guy Zeus in the 1989 film, "No Holds Barred."
