The French Minister of the Interior, Gerald Darmanin, announced the deployment of at least 11,000 members of the police and gendarmerie forces tomorrow, Tuesday, to secure the scheduled demonstrations and protests that will take place across the country.

The protests come at the invitation of the trade union against the pension reform law, which sparked in the last period a wave of anger raging in the country.

Darmanin said, in a tweet on Twitter, that 11,000 police and gendarmerie forces will be deployed, including 4,000 in Paris, "to secure demonstrations and guarantee the right to demonstrate."

About 250 demonstrations and marches are scheduled to take place in France within the framework of the fourteenth day of demonstrations across the country at the invitation of the trade unions, where it is expected that between 400 thousand and 600 thousand people will participate, including 40 thousand to 70 thousand in the French capital, according to the French authorities.
