France has strongly condemned the latest Israeli airstrikes on Gaza, which targeted a school, an orphanage in the northern part of the strip, and a home in Khan Younis in the south, leaving around 40 people dead according to initial reports.
A spokesperson for the French Foreign Ministry stated today, Wednesday, that "the Israeli army has repeatedly targeted civilian infrastructure housing displaced persons over the past several weeks."
He added, "In light of the urgent humanitarian situation in Gaza, France reiterates its call for the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages and for an immediate and permanent ceasefire, to ensure the wide and unhindered delivery of humanitarian aid."
