Former Israeli Prime Minister (PM), Ehud Olmert, confirmed that Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, is "morally destroyed" because of his gross failure in the field of national security.
Olmert continued, saying: “Every minute he spends as Prime Minister (Netanyahu), he poses a danger to Israel's future.
He added that he is sure that the Americans realize that Netanyahu is in a bad state as he is experiencing a state of nervous breakdown for fear of losing his position, after the events of October 7.”
Olmert's interview with Western media said: "He (Netanyahu) made a mistake. He is morally broken, that's for sure. I mean something terrible happened to him. Bibi (Netanyahu's pseudonym) throughout his life falsely considered himself the master of security. He is the master of triviality.
Olmert believed that "Netanyahu is miscalculating by preparing to take full control of the security of the Gaza Strip, for an indefinite period, in the event of the defeat of Hamas."
Olmert said: "It is not in Israel's interest to control Gaza's security. It is in our interest to be able to defend ourselves differently than we did, before the October 7 attack. But controlling Gaza again? No."
