A big number of social media users expressed their discontent over the incident, in which, the son appeared while humiliating his mother and forcing her to descend the stairs by crawling after she had gone up to his flat to see her grand daughter.
The young man filmed his mother while crawling on the stairs and mocked her.

In turn, undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Solidarity in Sharqia, Muhammad Kamal al-Din al-Hajjaji, said that a committee was formed to quickly investigate the incident, saying that the young man was arrested and taken to the police station.
Egyptians have taken to social media to demand justice for the mother and called on lawyers not to defend her “ungrateful” son.
