Food Safety Authority Urges Companies to Voluntarily Report Any Defects in  Products

The National Food Safety Authority advised the Egyptian consumer to follow its website on the Internet to learn about the warnings issued by the Authority regarding food products traded in the market and to identify the facilities approved by the Authority for the production of safe food in the interest of its health and safety.

The authority also urged companies that discover any defects in their products not to hesitate to communicate with the authority and announce these defects, taking into account the full appreciation of the authority for voluntary reporting carried out by companies.

The authority confirmed, in a press statement, today, Friday, that this procedure proves the extent to which these companies are keen to preserve the health and safety of the consumer and take responsibility for the food products they provide,  to confirm their credibility.
