Foreign Minister (FM) Sameh Shoukry affirmed Egypt's full support for the rights of the Palestinian people within the framework of international legitimacy decisions to resolve the conflict based on the principle of the two-state solution.
In a joint press conference with his Italian counterpart, Shoukry explained that Egypt continues its contact with all the parties to promote peace and security, underlining the need to establish an independent Palestinian state on the borders of June 4, 1967.
Moreover, Shoukry stressed the importance of resolving the Palestinian issue by establishing a state for the Palestinians, referring to the close coordination between Egypt, Jordan and Palestine to discuss ways to activate the peace process between the Palestinians and the Israelis.
