Egypt’s Foreign Minister (FM) Sameh Shoukry headed to Athens earlier today Tuesday, upon an official invitation from his Greek counterpart.
During his visit, Shoukry is set to meet a number of Greek senior officials headed by president Katerina Sakellaropoulou, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, as well as his counterpart Nikos Dendias.
The visit aims at enhancing bilateral cooperation and coordination between Egypt and Greece in all fields and regional and international issues of mutual concern.
Moreover, it is scheduled that FM will take part in the 24th Roundtable with the Government of Greece event, organized by The Economist, which is set to discuss the situation in Europe and the Eastern Mediterranean region, according to an official statement issued by Egypt's Foreign Ministry.
