FM, North Macedonia Counterpart Discuss Palestinian Cause, Libyan Crisis

Foreign Minister (FM) Sameh Shoukry welcomed North Macedonia counterpart Boyar Osmani's visit in Egypt, stressing both countries' political desire to develop bilateral relations.

In a joint press conference, FM explained that their official talks dealt with relations in various fields and North Macedonia's presidency of the OSCE Mediterranean Partners Group.

Moreover, Egypt's top diplomat added that they have agreed to activate political consultation between the two countries, noting that he will visit North Macedonia next year to exchange views and explore areas of cooperation.

Furthermore, Shoukry pointed out that they discussed the situation in the Western Balkans, and the Middle East, as well as the recent challenges facing the region.

In addition, they tackled the Palestinian issue, the situation in Libya, terrorism issues, and the efforts made by Egypt to control illegal immigration.
