Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, Dr. Badr Abdel Atty met his Lebanese counterpart, Mr. Abdullah Bouhabib during his visit to Beirut.
Ambassador Tamim Khallaf, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, said that Minister Abdel Atty affirmed Egypt’s full support for brotherly Lebanon in light of the critical circumstances it is going through, and work to establish a truce.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs condemned the brutal Israeli aggression on Lebanese territory and the violation of Lebanese sovereignty, stressing Egypt’s support for Lebanon.
He also stressed the importance of strengthening Egyptian-Lebanese relations, expressing Egypt’s keenness on Lebanon’s sovereignty, unity, and Arabism, rejecting the Israeli aggression against Lebanon.
